In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy for families to drift apart due to distance or the inevitable passage of time. However, family traditions have the power to keep us connected to our loved ones, even when separated by miles or the barrier of death. Like many in the States, my family is a blended, complex mix of cultures and traditions. For example, we celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah. This provides many opportunities for our sons, Spider-Man*, Bonecrusher*, and the soon arriving A-Bomb*, to learn of our family heritage, bond together, and develop memories to last long after I’m gone.
